Another photography class assignment this week took Andrea & I to St. John's Cathedral. Edging "Cathedral Square" in downtown Milwaukee, St. John's is adorned inside by a beautiful sculpture. "The Corona" is suspended over the altar with Jesus and a 14 foot crown. Arnaldo Pomodoro was the sculptor. Jesus has a dove his right hand. My first photo was a tight shot from below the cross. The second photo is taken farther back in the cathedral, on the back left side aisle.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! Great time of year to do this!
ReplyDeleteI showed the top photo in class. The teacher, John Alley, considered the photo "an abstract".
